基隆巿工務處長李銅城2日下午表示，北寧路上的危石結構穩定，反而是一旁小塊碎石，隨時有可能掉下來，目前決定採取「一層層剝除」的方式處理，在岩石鑽孔打入化學藥劑撐開石頭，減少震動，加上整理環境，若明天進場，預計12個工作天完成。
