（軍聞社記者卓以立臺北廿四日電）國防部今天派遣一架空軍救護隊S-70C型直升機(編號：C-493)，成功救援挪威籍貨輪「FAVORITA」號，一名菲律賓籍船員頭部遭受重創昏迷，完成後送任務，展現慈航天使的人道精神。

　國防部於上午十點廿八分接獲國搜中心通報，十點卅分下令空軍松山基地S-70C直升機一架執行救援任務，任務機十時四十分起飛，十一時卅三分進入目標區，十一時四十五分開始吊掛，十一時五十七分完成吊掛脫離目標區，於十二時五十分降落松山機場，傷患隨即由臺北市消防局救護車轉送三軍總醫院就醫，圓滿達成救援任務。
