〔記者陳鈞凱╱台北報導〕嚴重的牙周病人，由於齒骨遭破壞，骨頭高度太薄，「鎖螺絲」常鬆脫，常常造成植牙時困難度大增，尤其是上顎後排缺牙的問題又特別大。一名49歲的婦人，就因為齒骨已經被破壞到牙根底部，上排臼齒的骨頭高度僅剩不到5毫米，是植牙需要高度的一半都不到，醫師只好利用鼻竇植骨先補骨粉、再合併植牙手術。<img src="http://feeds.feedburner.com/~r/nownews/life/~4/_V1B53IG_fg" height="1" width="1"/>
