想到看夕陽，一般人可能會將希臘當成首選之地，但其實台灣真的很美！墾丁關山近日獲選為世界12個觀賞落日美景最佳地點之一。
美國有線電視新聞網(CNN)網站繼介紹40道不可錯過的台灣料理、台灣10大觀光小城及台北旅遊秘境後，再次推薦墾丁關山是世界12個觀賞落日美景最佳地點之一。
觀光局說，台灣觀光在各方努力下，屢次獲得國際媒體青睞，透過專業知名媒體報導宣傳，持續在國際舞臺上發光發熱。
CNN網站這次推薦夕陽地點包括：澳洲中北部之Uluru and Kata、義大利卡塔尼亞Aci Trezza小漁村、美國大峽谷、杜拜、希臘聖托里尼、國大陸西湖、等12處世界知名觀光勝地。該網站同時鼓勵讀者利用網頁互動區(comments section)分享自己最喜愛的觀日景點，觀光局也鼓勵大家藉此機會前往該網站，將所知台灣其他觀賞落日夕照最佳地點推薦給全世界的CNN讀者。
關山位於恆春半島西南，全區為隆起珊瑚礁台地、海拔高度約152公尺，由於地勢高，是觀賞夕照及遠眺恆春半島各區的最佳地點。觀光局表示，在台灣南部，無論是漫步在晨曦或夕陽的霞光，或欣賞台灣最南端的紅樹林與蔚藍的海岸，或觀察特殊地質與豐富的動植物生態自然，均是難以取代的旅遊體驗，相信透過CNN網站的推薦，一定可讓外國遊客更加深刻的認識南台灣豐富的觀光資源。
除了夕照，觀光局也指出國內的風景區多有欣賞日出或迎曙光好地點，如東北角福隆、三貂角、南投日月潭、阿里山、台東三仙台、馬祖北竿鄉壁山等，均為欣賞美麗日出的浪漫地點。
