【綜合報導】蔡文誠昨天頂替有傷在身的林志傑先發，成功和戴維斯捍衛禁區，封鎖中國3塔易建聯、王治郅與王哲林的攻擊，拿下全隊次高的21分並有7籃板，表現可圈可點，卻因為是亞錦賽的菜鳥，中國媒體不識他是誰，頻頻直問：「「蔡文誠是誰？」

蔡文誠雖是首次出征亞錦賽，但可是本季SBL雙料MVP，首度先發即大爆發，下半場更獨得15分與4籃板。《自由時報》報導，中國隊希臘籍總教練楊納基斯賽後曾說，那個之前比賽很少上場的「板凳球員」，帶給中國很大傷害。
