【綜合報導】中華職棒統一獅與兄弟象昨在台中開打，統一獅在9局下反攻，連續3支安打攻佔滿壘，讓原本沒機會再上場的張泰山又站上打擊區，他自羅國華手中打出三壘強勁滾地球，形成內野安打，生涯第2千安達成，但對泰山來說，美中不足的是，終場獅隊以4比9敗給兄弟象，象隊則終止5連敗。

張泰山達成紀錄那一刻，老婆吳靜宜帶著兒子可洛、女兒可妮一同頒獎，吳靜宜當場流淚，泰山說：「家庭、宗教給我很大的力量，尤其是老婆，一路看著我創紀錄，陷入低潮也在我身邊，是她照顧我的身體，我要跟她分享這個時刻，接下來我會繼續締造屬於我跟中華職棒的紀錄。」
