　　作品腳本由曾為真人版電影《殺戮都市》撰寫劇本的渡邊雄介執筆，角色設計則請來曾執導電腦動畫電影《蘋果核戰》的荒牧伸志操刀。導演則找來擅長將動漫作品，如《賭博默示錄：人生逆轉遊戲》改編成真人電影版的佐藤東彌執導，曾由他經手的電視劇作品如《家政婦女王》、《極道鮮師》等。此外，五位科學小飛俠隊員的戰鬥服，也是製作團隊耗費一年時間，以 2000 萬日圓高價所設計改良出來的新款式。
