【短片】越胖越美　茅國女生被逼灌食才嫁得出去

【綜合報導】位於西非的茅利塔尼亞伊斯蘭共和國(Mauritania)，相信女性越胖越漂亮，為了讓女兒將來能嫁個好歸宿，家長從女兒8歲開始幫她們增肥，甚至到了病態的程度，許多女生被強迫灌食，或是服用動物生長賀爾蒙以增加食慾。

女生長到適婚年齡後，就會被送到增胖營，每天要吃掉熱量1萬5千大卡的食物，美國記者湯瑪斯摩頓(Thomas Morton)就到當地採訪，親自體驗增胖營的生活，吃了2天高熱量的大餐，身體就已經受不了，對食物感到噁心。

由於當地男性娶到胖老婆，是有錢又有權的象徵，女生越胖越是搶手貨，雖然這樣的吃法嚴重危害健康，但要改變當地傳統觀念，恐怕沒那麼容易 。
