【綜合報導】94歲的南非前總統曼德拉(Nelson Mandela)本月8日因為肺部受到感染，再度入院治療，病況始終反覆，南非總統祖瑪(Jacob Zuma)日前公開表示，曼德拉年事已高，健康已出現危機，目前處在病危狀態，醫師正傾全力救治，也希望全國民眾一起為曼德拉祈禱。

美國總統歐巴馬(Barack Obama)預計本周內將前往南非進行訪問，屆時也會到醫院病床前探視這位前諾貝爾和平獎得主，而曼德拉的女兒辛吉(Zindzi Mandela-Motlhajwa)昨天在已經昏迷的曼德拉耳邊告訴他，歐巴馬會來看他，「我看見父親微微睜開眼，並且笑了一下」。
