大陸中心／綜合報導 福建省廈門市7日下午6時左右，發生一起BRT（快速公交系統，Bus Rapid Transit）火燒車意外。當時車內約有100位乘客，共造成48人死亡、33人受傷的悲劇。根據當地媒體報導指稱，起火原因應是輪胎起火，引發油箱燃燒而爆炸。但詳細的事故原因，當地警方仍在調查當中。 這起火燒車意外，發生在7日傍晚6時22分，車號是閩-Y7396的公車。一輛行駛在BRT高架上的公共汽車，在行經蔡塘站附近時，突然冒出火勢，沒幾分鐘整輛公車就被大火吞噬，整個濃煙直竄天際。 意外發生時間正好是下班的尖峰時刻，車內的乘客大多是上班族和下課的學生，由於當天適逢大陸大學聯考的首日，車內有不少考生。目前得知已有48人死亡、33人受傷，傷者都已送到醫院救治。而整輛公車也因為火勢太大，燒到只剩下骨架而已。
