| 通緝犯躲大樓地下停車場報廢車內

【王煌忠／台中報導】家住南投縣的吳姓男子（31歲），6月份因竊盜案遭通緝後四處躲藏，上個月底想起先前曾在台中市北屯路一棟大樓租屋，因屋齡老舊且地下停車場使用率低幾乎無人進出，遂侵入大樓， 晚間躲藏在地下室樓梯間睡覺，白天則四處撿拾資源回收物變賣。
月初吳男在地下大樓停車場角落，發現一輛未上鎖的報廢自小客，改搬入車內躲藏，一名大樓住戶日前透過監視器發現報警，但警方到場並未發現，昨晚警員再度前往查察，發現吳嫌躺在後座熟睡，叫醒盤查發現他是通緝犯，訊後解送台中地檢署歸案。

| 小三雙胞胎與伴讀大哥相見歡 草地聽故事

【曾雪蒨／台中報導】家住嘉義縣，今年就讀小三的姐妹「小玉」、「小珍」，父親去年過世後，由擔任臨時工的越南籍媽媽撫養，去年參加世界展望會的課後輔助，今天跟陪她們視訊伴讀一年的伴讀老師在科博館相見歡，這是世界展望會與城邦文化合作視訊伴讀活動的初次接觸。
「小玉」、「小珍」和40多個來自嘉義、雲林的偏鄉孩子，第一次不是透過視訊看到伴讀老師，小姐妹與伴讀老師莊晏清三人，坐在草地上一起分享之前看的「年獸」、「小紅帽」等故事，相當溫馨感人。
