【李定宇╱新北報導】新北市勞工局職訓中心每年固定開辦各類培訓班，輔導失業民眾找工作，但去年就業率下滑遭糾正，職訓中心今年不想辦法提升就業率，卻乾脆砍掉其中的「觀光導遊人員培訓班」，引起民眾不滿。市議員昨批：「因噎廢食！」職訓中心解釋就業市場飽和才不得不關班。

【林媛玲╱新北報導】許多勞資爭議發生公司積欠員工資遣費、退休金及工資等情事，且勞工常因法律認知及協商經驗不足處在弱勢地位，新北市首創聘請律師免費替民眾解決勞資爭議疑難雜症，即起有律師協助勞工參予勞資爭議調解，對象包括職災勞工、特殊弱勢、工會會員及十人以上集體重大勞資爭議勞工四類，讓勞工權益有更多保障。
