【大紀元2013年10月06日訊】一則打濕眼眶的新聞，不在央視新聞聯播，是網友微博發文：博主路經清華園，見路邊長凳上一對70歲老夫婦面帶哭色，上前問，說到北京治病把錢花光，唯一的女兒回老家借錢。老夫婦一天沒吃東西，也不好意思乞討。博主要帶去飯店吃飯，老夫婦不肯，只求幫買兩張餅。再三勸說，答應只到包子店。結果，那老伯一口氣吃了18個肉包和粥菜。可見，他們有多餓。
