今年新興市場雖然相較歐美市場慢熱，保德信投信投資管理部主管林如惠表示，隨著投資人對風險性資產的偏好逐步回溫，預料市場資金將開始轉入規模擴張、財務體質健全的新興市場企業。

林如惠指出，美國財星雜誌對全球五百大企業的排名，不僅可用來衡量企業規模大小，也是國家繁榮程度的指標。

時至今日，觀察財星五百大企業在全球分布情形，可發現新興市場的家數激增，2007年僅有69家來自於新興國家，如今卻是每四家五百大企業，就有一家來自新興市場，更別提另外三家企業的主要營收來源，也大幅受惠新興市場的消費貢獻。
