原訂今天清晨結束的PGA球員錦標賽第3回合，因為球場出現雷陣雨停賽2個多小時，恢復比賽後，仍有8人未能在天黑前順利完賽，包括「世界球王」伍茲(Tiger Woods)，他打完前14洞，抓鳥、柏忌各1，暫時並列第2名，僅落後給領先者2桿，前2回合都繳出67桿的他很有機會追至領先。
