屏東地檢署率同法醫解剖琉球籍廣大興28號漁船上船員洪石成遺體，檢方表示，因犯罪行為被害而死亡者的遺屬，依法得申請犯罪被害補償金，解剖遺體是確認死者「因犯罪行為」被害而死亡，檢察官基於調查「犯罪行為」所需，不得不解剖遺體，且這也是幫助家屬申請犯罪被害補償金。

該署檢察長林慶宗表示，已指示犯罪被害人保護協會屏東分會協助家屬申請犯罪被害補償金。
