（法新社瓜地馬拉市10日電）被控犯下種族滅絕和戰爭罪行的前瓜地馬拉獨裁者蒙特（Efrain RiosMontt）今天被判有罪，這項里程碑判決源自瓜國數十年內戰期間發生的原住民大屠殺。

蒙特因此成為第1位嘗試消滅一整個族群而被定罪的拉丁美洲人。

瓜國1960至1996年內戰，86歲的蒙特主政期間是內戰最慘烈時期，他被判80年有期徒刑，全案仍可上訴。

法官巴里沃斯（Jazmin Barrios）宣判蒙特因種族滅絕罪行坐牢50年，戰爭罪行坐牢30年。巴里沃斯說，蒙特的行為「符合種族滅絕定義」，「必須執行相應的懲罰」。（譯者：中央社樂羽嘉）
