基隆市一名男子(約46歲)大前天喝醉後與女友吵架，暴怒之下失去理智，竟拿剪刀喀嚓一聲剪斷自己的「命根子」，還隨手丟進馬桶沖掉，女友根本來不及制止，發現他下體血流不止送醫。

經緊急搶救，其生殖器只剩3公分，連陰囊都不見了，只剩排尿功能，他清醒後無法相信自己竟成了太監，情緒失控大吼大叫，其女友則含淚雙手合十禱告，以台語說：「去了了啊！」醫師野說：「行醫20年第一次碰到這樣的狀況。」
