國際大導演李安應文化部邀請，今天清晨和妻子一起返回台灣，母親節前夕回台，他說要給媽媽一個驚喜，回台除了要給台灣的電影界加油打氣，他也提到今年8月即將到中東，首次拍攝電視劇。

應媒體要求，夫妻倆一起入鏡，李安拍拍妻子的肩膀，兩個人笑得很開心，母親節前夕回來，李安當然要給媽媽一個驚喜，對於威爾史密斯訪台時毛遂自薦，表示希望能跟李安合作，李安說史密斯人很好，之前就有找過他。

返台除了過母親節，李安這次是應文化部邀請，參加兩場影視文化政策的座談會，要為台灣電影界奉獻一些心力，李安說，下半年主要的工作，是把以「中東政局」為主題的電視劇拍出來，預計8、9月會到中東取景，這也是他第一次嘗試拍攝電視劇，不間斷的努力，李安的奇幻旅程還要繼續走下去。
