保護國安 英情報員准超速行駛

（中央社記者黃貞貞倫敦2014年1月13日專電）英國政府今天宣布，一旦國家安全受到威脅，情報人員駕車時可免受時速限制，但必須先接受高速駕車訓練。

這是英國政府第1次給予情報員行車超速的特權，與警車、消防車、救護車為辦案與救護的理由，行車沒有時速限制。

負責打擊國內嚴重罪案、軍事分離主義、恐怖主義及間諜活動的軍情五處（MI5），及英國對外情報機構（MI6）情報員，依規定行駛時必須遵守時速限制，今天交通部宣布新規定，情報員必須先接受高速駕駛訓練，通過後未來即可不受時速限制。

民眾在情報員007龐德電影中所看到的市區高速追逐的畫面，未來也將真實上演。

交通部次長古德威爾（Robert Goodwill）同時宣布，載有移植器官、拆解爆破物小組、山區營救小組等的車輛，行車時也可不受時速限制。交通部是在對民眾徵詢調查後，93%的受訪者認為在國家安全、保護生命等領域工作的車輛，應該不受時速限制的規定，決定順應民意「從善如流」，修改相關規定。
