【時報-台北電】面對eTag出包後遭炮火猛攻，遠東集團董座徐旭東今日在上海連續隔空道歉4次，也表示如果消費者不滿意，可以退用，指出「退了以後我請問，他怎麼上高速公路？不過，你喜歡退你就退。」，而此番談話也引發爭議。

對於上述談話，交通部長葉匡時不予回應，而交通部政務次長陳純敬則表示，能理解遠通電收壓力大，導致徐旭東有情緒性發言，但講話仍須謹慎，交通部已請高公局與遠通電收溝通，必須按合約，盡最大的耐心，提供最準確和最便捷的服務。
