環球學子戒菸 獲防制績優

（中央社記者葉子綱雲林縣2014年1月8日電）環球科技大學推行戒菸教育和運動，獲得菸害防制績優學校，今天在戒菸班頒獎表揚優秀學生。

環球科大配合政府政策，申請教育部和衛生福利部國民健康署計畫，開辦戒菸班鼓勵師生戒菸，為自己健康努力，獲得國民健康署「102年落實年輕族群場域菸害防制計畫」基本方案組績優學校。

環球科大學務長林柏煌說，戒菸課從去年10月到今年1月，每週安排活動協助克服對尼古丁依賴，並安排到成大醫院斗六分院戒菸門診，有10名學生成功戒菸。

林柏煌表示，戒菸成功學生值得喝采，在3個月內學生少抽540包香菸，換算市值約節省新台幣4萬3200元，最重要的是，換得無價的健康。
