美漲駐軍費 南韓不妥協

美國強力要求南韓將駐韓美軍防衛費用的分擔額，至少提高到9500億韓元（約8.9億美元），比去年的8695億韓元高出9.2%，這與南韓政府希望分擔的金額9000億韓元（約8.4億美元）相差頗大。雙方將於9日在首爾舉行最後一次談判，南韓官員預料難以談妥。

南韓與美國於1991年首次針對駐韓美軍費用分擔事宜，簽訂「防衛費分擔特別協定（SMA）」，目前共有2萬8500名美軍駐守南韓。

南韓官員指出，美軍規模及服務情況並未明顯改變，因此美國要求大幅提高防衛費並不合理。韓聯社說，美國政府從去年開始實施「自動減支」，國防預算在十年間共刪減5000億美元，因此要求南韓多分擔防衛費。
