落石坍方 新中橫望高寮處中斷

（中央社記者林恆立南投縣2014年1月4日電）南投縣信義鄉新中橫公路116K望高寮段，自2日上午至今天下午陸續出現落石坍方，交通阻斷，公路單位正努力排除。

公路總局信義工務段表示，台21線新中橫公路116K處約百公尺長路段，因上邊坡地形陡峭、地質風化破碎，近兩週來落石不斷，尤其是2日上午至今天下午土石崩塌頻繁，交通幾乎呈中斷狀態。

工務段說，由於清除後又坍，搶救困難且危險性高，尚無法確定何時能排除、搶通，呼籲民眾暫時避免前往玉山園區及塔塔加地區。
