【時報-台北電】橫掃美北的強烈暴風雪3日傳出災情，造成至少11人喪生，數千航班被迫取消。麻塞諸塞州部分地區積雪已達61公分，紐約州及新澤西州都宣布進入緊急狀態。媒體報導，費城地區準備高達100英尺的鹽堆，準備撒在路上以利交通，結果坍塌下來，壓死一名工人。(新聞來源：旺報即時 潘勛)
