雖然 Canonical 的產品經理 Richard Collins 曾經說過桌面版 Ubuntu 加 Android 的雙系統手機在 2014 年之前不會出現，不過行動版 Ubuntu 加 Android 的 Dual Boot 功能則是可以在 2014 年來臨之前預覽一下的。雖然說這個預覽版只是供開發者使用，不過如果大家熟悉如何為 Android 手機刷 ROM 的話理應懂得怎樣安裝這個預覽的。而且 Canonical 指出這個 dual boot 預覽是可以兼容很多個版本的 Android，包括原生 Android、AOSP Android 以及 CyanogenMod 版的 Android，所以對刷機專家來說，試玩這個預覽的誘因更大。有興建的話，請先細詳引用來源的資訊吧。
