渣打銀：台灣明年GDP可達3.9%

經建會估計台灣明年經濟成長率2.8％，遠高於主計總處預估的2.59％，被批評太樂觀；不過，渣打銀行力挺經建會，認為是「市場太悲觀」。

渣打銀行總經理康暉杰（Ajay Kanwal）昨天指出，台灣明年GDP不只可「保三」，根據渣打的預估值，可達到3.9％。

主計總處預估台灣經濟成長率明年僅2.59％，康暉杰說，不只台灣對自己的經濟前景感到悲觀，各國都對自己國家的經濟前景悲觀；不過，歐美國家已陸續從金融風暴後谷底走出來，台灣政府也積極推動若干措施，像推出自由經濟示範區等，國人沒有悲觀的理由。

康暉杰指出，股市的牛市（多頭）通常是信心在谷底時發生，也就是目前的情況；他說，從近期銀行端跟客戶接觸互動的過程中，也可明顯觀察到經濟在好轉。

康暉杰說，渣打先前預期今年底台灣人民幣存款餘額可突破1,000億人民幣時，還被外界認為預估偏高，但目前已超過千億大關；他更大膽預測，明年底可達2,500億元的規模。
