菲核電廠閒置近30年　成觀光景點

【國際中心／綜合外電報導】坐落在菲律賓北部的巴丹核電廠是該國境內唯一的核電廠，自從1984年竣工後一直被閒置，現已成為一處旅遊景點，據統計，截至今年10月為止，造訪遊客數多達7千人次以上。
 
巴丹核電廠距首都馬尼拉僅100公里，當初耗資23億美元，希望成為東南亞第一個利用核能發電的國家。菲國政府當初從美國進口大量的鈾原料準備運轉前，烏克蘭的車諾比核電廠在1986年發生爆炸，成為史上最嚴重的核災，巴丹核電廠也因此被打入冷宮。也因為從未發過電，反而成了當地獨特的旅遊景點。
