演出〈哈利波特〉系列電影走紅的Daniel Radcliffe，將在真人故事改編的電影中，飾演前英國田徑名將Sebastian Coe。

Sebastian Coe是2012年英國倫敦奧運組委會主席，田徑選手出身，曾在1980莫斯科年與1984洛杉磯奧運在1500公尺與800公尺項目各得2金2銀。

Coe與當年接力隊隊友幾乎稱霸80年代所有中距離項目，電影將以他在莫斯科奧運與隊友Steve Ovett之間的競爭關係為背景。

不過目前Ovett的人選還未定，據了解，目前Ovett方面還不願意與劇組合作，Ovett從選手身份退役後，現定居於澳洲。

電影將由〈顫慄黑影〉導演James Watkins執導筒， Radcliffe也是這一部驚悚片的主角，且請來〈貧民百萬富翁〉編劇Simon Beaufoy為劇本操刀，影片將在明年四月開拍。
