芝加哥公牛隊球星「飆風玫瑰」Derrick Rose，在1日對上紐約尼克的例行賽中先發上陣，雖然於稍早因頸部痠痛而缺席投籃訓練。

根據《ESPN》報導，Rose熱身時脖子上貼有肌內效貼布，但他選擇不告訴記者。

賽前總教練Tom Thibodeau致電Rose欲決定其上場時間，他自信滿滿地認為不必再侷限上場時間，該是鬆綁限制的時候了，畢竟先前也休養了一整個賽季。

被問及是否會上場與尼克對抗時Rose談到：「當然會！我肯定會打，只是我必須得到鬆綁，不再被限制上場時間。」

Rose自己也不確定頸部痠痛是何時發生的，但他認為日前與邁阿密熱火的開幕戰，或多或少有些影響，該場公牛最終以95比107吞敗。

這位2011年的史上最年輕MVP提到，膝傷在歷經手術修復後，狀況良好無虞。
