政府推遲退休年齡　英消防員將罷工抗議

【李忠謙／綜合外電報導】英國政府要求將消防員的退休年齡從55歲延後到60歲，但英國消防工會認為讓60歲的老人去救火根本是錯誤的決策，因此決定在11月初規劃兩場罷工抗議。

英國消防工會今年9月也曾舉行罷工，當時的訴求是政府未能提供令消防員滿意的人員編制與退休金規劃，結果英格蘭與威爾士當局緊急做出回應，工會才取消了當時的第二場罷工。

按照消防工會的計畫，11月的第一次罷工為1日晚上6時30分到11時，第二次罷工為4日早上6時到8時。
