【周佩萱／綜合外電報導】美國聖安東尼一名現年34歲的媽媽珍妮佛瑪莉葉佛格斯(Jennifer Marie Vargas) ，9月27日時在盛怒之下處罰6歲的兒子，但卻處罰過當，將他的陰囊撕裂約4公分，兒子下體大量流血並瘀青。

更扯的是，媽媽並沒有將兒子送醫，反而是自行先用酒精消毒後，用強力膠試圖將陰囊黏回去，看到兒子不再流血後，媽媽便催促兒子上床睡覺，當晚爸爸返家後，發現兒子下體有異狀，檢查後才得知老婆的惡行，立即將兒子送醫治療， 所幸還來得及修復傷害。

這名媽媽隨後以傷害罪被捕，10月23日遭起訴，最高可判10年有期徒刑。
