女騎士癲癇發作　交警及時應變救人

【王煌忠／台中報導】台中市交通大隊警員劉炳東，昨天下午在臺灣大道與黎明路口執行交管勤務時，發現一群人圍在路邊議論紛紛，劉員前往察看，發現薛姓﹝四十六歲﹞女子癲癇發作，全身不斷抽蓄，因適逢下班交通流量大，警員擔心女子遭過往車輛波及，立即圍起封鎖線並通知119派遣救護人員到場協助，穩定女子病情後送醫，幸無大礙。
 
警方事後調查得知，有癲癇病史的薛姓女子，領有殘障手冊，騎乘機車出門未注意保暖，導致病情發作，連人帶車摔落路面，幸經路人及警員即時伸出援手，讓薛女得以迅速就醫控制病況。
