首例鼬獾闖高鐵軌道　四列車延誤半小時

【吳傑沐／苗栗報導】高鐵757次南下列車昨晚9時49分行經苗栗縣苑裡段（130K），駕駛突然感覺列車疑似撞到不明物體，緊急通報行控中心後停車檢查，但未立即查出事故原因。高鐵巡軌人員凌晨過後，於維修時間清查沿線軌道，在129K苑裡鎮水坡里隧道前，赫然發現一隻被列車撞斃的鼬獾屍體，證實是野生動物侵入軌道。

高鐵公司專員張永興表示，「這應是鼬獾闖高鐵軌道遭撞首例！」高鐵苗栗段多山與丘陵，共有19處隧道，周邊鐵絲網主要防止野狗、羊隻等大型動物，水溝網格稍大，是為避免阻塞。前年造橋路段發現有羊隻侵入軌道，經查也是從水溝侵入，應屬不可抗力因素。

列車緊急停車後，南、北雙向有5列車隨之停駛，現場停車超過30 分鐘，經檢查沒有異樣後，才恢復行駛。
