大賣場2/3食物　平白浪費被丟棄

【張渝萍／綜合報導】英國特易購（Tesco）量販店一項調查顯示，大賣場竟有高達3分之2的食物被浪費，包括68％的袋裝生菜、48％的麵包類及24％的葡萄。丟棄食物的主因包括顧客吃不完丟棄、在賣場中長時間擺放而壞掉，甚至有些農產品在還沒上架前就被丟掉。

Tesco是檢視25項最暢銷食物，包括培根、雞蛋、洋蔥和牛奶等，發現今年前半年，有2萬8500噸農產品在商場和批發中心被丟掉，根據Tesco調查，在其暢銷的產品中，每5顆蘋果就浪費2顆，每5根香蕉就有1根浪費，可見買一送一促銷容易造成食物浪費。Tesco表示將不會再提供大包裝生菜，並將提供消費者儲存食物的小撇步。

英國特易購量販店表示半年丟掉近3萬公噸的食物。
