據外電報導，美國加州洛杉磯海灘發現一條罕見的鯨魚，頭部像海豚，長著劍齒，被發現時已經死亡。

根據中新網報導，這頭鯨魚大約15英尺(4.57公尺)長，為雌性史氏中喙鯨(Stejneger''s beaked whale)，星期二(15日)晚上被衝到岸上。

一輛卡車運走了這頭鯨魚。科學家將對這頭鯨魚進行解剖，對該物種的情況及其死因進行研究。

史氏中喙鯨在動物界中十分罕見，它們生活在亞北極地區的深水中，靠烏賊與小型魚類為生。據認為他們活動的範圍最南達美國加州北部。

這頭鯨魚頭部像海豚，長著劍齒，被發現時已經死亡。
