美前議員孫涉強暴　受害者全家遭恐嚇

【周佩萱／綜合外電報導】2012年1月8日那天所發生的事，成為14歲的黛西柯曼終生的噩夢，那天她參加一個學校派對，在派對上被灌酒意識不清下，遭一名高年級學生強暴，另一名同夥還拍下強暴影片，最後他們在天寒地凍中，將黛西扔在她家前門後離開。

黛西身上有明顯被強暴的傷痕，但因為他們一家人1年前才剛搬來密蘇里州馬利維爾小鎮，而且強暴她的學生17歲的馬修巴奈特，又正好密蘇里州前議員的孫子，當地檢察官最後以罪證不足為由，無法起訴馬修巴奈特，儘管檢察官否認有任何政治因素影響，同時黛西一家也遭到電話和網路恐嚇，同年4月，她們家被放火燒毀，媽媽還丟掉工作，被強暴後，黛西患有嚴重憂鬱症，還曾企圖自殺。

原本黛西爸爸在車禍中身亡後，媽媽帶著4個孩子搬來馬利維爾，期待展開新生活，沒想到發生如此慘劇，全家不得不再度搬家，至於強暴她的馬修巴奈特，則逍遙法外正在密蘇里中央大學就讀。
