吳敦義赴南投仁愛之家關懷院童

【陳方瑩／南投報導】副總統吳敦義今天上午到「南投仁愛之家育幼所」訪視，在董事長賴文吉陪同下，參觀園區並與院童們合影留念。

吳敦義指出，他當南投縣長時，同時擔任該所董事長，它是公的財產、公的機構，必須大公無私，以愛心、耐心、貼心提供服務。2個多月前，他知道增建兒童館還欠缺建設經費，特別拜託公益機構幫忙，捐助了1500萬元。

賴文吉表示，育幼所設立於1965年，由於床位不足、建築物老舊，因此再增建兒童館，籌備6年但資金不足，遲遲無法動工，副總統幫了很大的忙，目前已完成建築師遴選及設計，預計今年底招標動工，未來4層樓建築將營造家的氛圍，還特別設置溫馨返家房，讓滿18歲離院自主生活的院生們，有時間還能回來「家」住住.。
