八大產業維新 職棒上壘

林書豪來台之際，經建會統籌規劃的第二波傳統產業維新方案即將完成，棒球獲選為八大維新產業之一。教育部將透過增辦國際賽事、強化基層選手培訓及周邊行銷方式，推升以職棒為主的棒球經濟效益。

第二波選定的八大產業，除了棒球，包括木工機械、製鞋、化妝品、國產藥品、原住民織品、有機農業、內灣鐵道觀光等。預定分兩年投入約16億元創新加值，方案最快年底前上路。

職棒列為維新產業是教育部的主張，著眼於今年3月世界棒球經典賽帶起台灣職棒新一波熱潮，教育部認為職棒可視為一個產業輔導。

製鞋業也被列為維新產業，工業局官員表示，台灣鞋業大廠外移嚴重，目前在台灣的四、五百家廠商多為中小型廠，工業局希望輔導至少三家二線品牌或代工業者成為國內一線品牌。
