員林鬧區光明街大火　延燒十餘間店面

【孫英哲／彰化報導】員林鎮鬧區光明街今天午傳出火警，據當地住戶指稱，他們是先聞到疑以電線燒焦的味道，然後再看到一家服飭店二樓冒出一團煙，隨即就有火舌竄出，跟著引發熊熊大火，火勢一下子就延燒開來，約有八家店面陷入火海之中，另有數間店面民宅也受火勢波及，因悶燒而不斷竄出黑煙，幸好當時這些店面都還不是營業時間，因此沒店員留守，店裡也都還沒有客人。
 
彰化縣消防局動員逾二十部各式消防車輛及逾百人力到場搶救，約在九時二十六分控制火勢，未傳人員傷亡，初步清理火場後，發現有近十間店面遭到這場大火波及。
