【蔡裕隆／綜合報導】火箭不受20小時旅途勞頓影響，今早飛抵馬尼拉未先到下榻飯店休息，而是直奔比賽場館進行閉門練習，目的在幫助球員克服時差，在後天比賽能有更好表現，練習完後才回球場旁的Sofitel度假中心，全隊一起吃午餐，吃完飯後不少球員，包括台裔之星林書豪都到旁邊的亞洲購物中心逛街，也引來球迷包圍。

火箭約莫早上10點抵達馬尼拉，此時間也是先前在休士頓進行季前訓練的時間，所以球隊選擇先到比賽場館進行練習，重點在於全身肌肉的伸展與暖身，幫助球員解緩長途飛行的不適，尤其是脫水現象，也有助於儘快適應時差，然後再針對首場熱身賽出賽鵜鶘的缺失進行檢討。
