據英國《每日郵報》報導，在美國特拉華州喬治敦，一場別開生面的婚禮拉開了帷幕。而這場婚禮的兩位主角都是女孩。

根據環球網報導，去(2012)年，美國華盛頓州公投通過了同性婚法案，允許同性戀者結婚。這個消息對於來自西雅圖的同性戀人蘇珊娜和里基來說，是天大的喜訊。兩人迫不及待地希望將彼此之間的愛合法化。蘇珊娜是一名滑稽舞娘，里基則是『drag king』(專指女扮男裝的表演者)。她們精心籌備了一場與眾不同的婚禮，以此來表現出獨屬於她們的風格、幽默以及對彼此的愛。

泡泡機、彩紙炮、撒向空中的花瓣，飲料噴泉、五顏六色的紙杯蛋糕、陶瓷小貓的復古裝飾、全身金黃手持氣球的戲班子……這一切使得現場的氣氛夢幻華麗。兩位新人身穿布料相同但剪裁不同的奶油色禮服，上面共同點綴著的豹紋圖案讓兩人顯得格外相配。

儀式結束後，客人們則被邀請去一座馬型的巨大充氣城堡上遊玩，裡面塞滿了人造珠寶以及迷你伏特加酒瓶，並且幸運地欣賞到這對如今已經成為夫妻的戀人精彩的舞蹈表演。最後，她們走過眾人揮舞煙花棒照亮的通道，在祝福的注視下離開會場。
