沃格特再見安　運動家扳回一城

【羅惠齡／綜合報導】美聯分區季後賽運動家主場迎戰老虎，前8局雙方形成投手戰，直到9局下，運動家靠捕手沃格特(Stephen Vogt)再見安打，以1比0氣走老虎，雙方此系列戰打成1比1平手。
 
此役可說是本季大聯盟季後賽最精彩一戰，老虎由王牌投手韋蘭德(Justin Verlander)先發，而運動家是派出菜鳥葛雷(Sonny Gray)對決。葛雷是運動家期待的潛力新秀，此役與對方王牌對決毫不畏懼，撐8局飆9次三振，只被打出4支安打，而韋蘭德表現不遑多讓，投7局也只被敲4安，送出11次三振，兩人退場時都沒有丟分，讓比賽形成0分僵局。
 
直到9局下，運動家無人出局，古巴重砲塞佩達斯(Yoenis Cespedes)、史密斯(Seth Smith)相繼敲出安打，攻佔一、三局，瑞迪克(Josh Reddick)獲保送，此時老虎換上本季13勝的先發投手波塞洛(Rick Porcello)救援，卻被沃格特敲出再見安打。
