【綜合報導】澳洲雪梨大學過去3年對40隻無尾熊做跟蹤研究，但報告指出，面對異常高溫，無尾熊非常有可能面臨大規模滅絕。

這份報告針對無尾熊的生活棲息和覓食習慣進行研究。報告指出無尾熊為了避暑，會棲身於不同種類的樹木，但天氣越熱，牠們就會找高大多葉的樹木棲身。但氣候異常之下，樹木的生長就會出問題，導致無尾熊找不到合適樹木棲身，甚至嚴重影響覓食，最後讓無尾熊絕種。
