「我把我們家燒了」　精障女判刑2年

【許淑惠／台中報導】罹患精神分裂症的中市林姓女子(23歲)，去年3月因工作問題與母親吵架，母親外出後，林女氣憤將報紙揉成紙團，點火引燃後放入母親的木質衣櫃內，再將3本書放入衣櫃內助燃，燒毀3樓的租屋處。
 
林女看見火勢變大後，跑到附近朋友家稱：「我跟我媽媽吵架，我把我們家燒了。」友人不可置信還問：「妳真的把妳們家燒了？」

林女放火燒毀有人居住的房子，可處7年以上有期徒刑，法院考量林女患有精神疾病、母親和房東都能體諒林女精神狀況欠佳無意提告等理由，依《刑法》第59條予以減刑，判刑2年，並因林女情緒控制能力未改善，恐有再犯之虞，不宣告緩刑。
