久病男跳河尋短　警馳援救回一命

【簡銘柱／台北報導】台北市廈門派出所警員，23日上午6時許獲報，中正橋上有1名男子坐在橋上欲跳河尋短，警員莊世昌及羅懿貞獲報後立即趕赴現場，見男子已雙腳懸空坐於橋邊圍欄上，情況緊急，莊員趁男子不注意時，趨步向前趁其不備將其抱住拉下，將其自鬼門關前救回，阻止一樁憾事發生。

警方調查，男子因長期洗腎身體多處病痛，久病厭世，立即聯繫其兒子至現場照護，並呼籲民眾多多關心家中長輩身心健康，適度關懷陪伴並用心傾聽，減少遺憾的發生。
