【綜合報導】中國江蘇省蘇州一名張姓女子，在醫院進行墮胎手術後，失去的不僅是一個孩子，還有一條右腿。今年8月，張女入院做墮胎手術，但手術中出現大出血，醫生緊急替她做了栓塞手術。但手術後，張女發現自己的兩條腿不聽使喚，隨後右腿更因為缺血壞死，必須截除。

醫院負責人辯稱，這是一起罕見的意外，張女的血管有畸形及變異情況，在手術中為了止住出血，醫生堵住了她的子宮動脈，卻不知何故，其下肢的動脈也同時被堵住。中國當地律師認為，張女可循相關法律途徑，追究醫院責任。
