選新北市長　游錫堃：蘇蔡對我語多鼓勵

【張麗娜／台北報導】行政院前院長游錫堃上午宣布參選新北市長，對於黨內也有聲音認為應勸進民進黨主席蘇貞昌或前主席蔡英文參選新北。游錫堃說，他親自拜訪請教過蘇、蔡，「他們兩位都不參選」，蘇蔡對他表態參選新北，「他們的態度很正面，語多鼓勵」。

媒體詢問，游錫堃已65歲，參選新北市是否太老？游也，王金平超過70歲也當國會議長，胡志強與他同年也當台中市長，李登輝競選總統時，比他現在年齡要高。他還說，「棺材是裝死人、不是裝老人」，這5年他爬了24座百岳，「大家可以看得出來我的身體狀況是好的，若有機會當選新北市長，以我的身體狀況是能夠勝任」。

媒體詢問到，前立委莊碩漢已在地方立起競選看板。游說，都是優秀的人才，任何人都有參選權利，他都尊重。
