肯亞恐怖攻擊 衝擊經濟

肯亞首都奈洛比的西門購物中心（Westgate Mall）21日驚傳恐怖攻擊，死亡人數已達68人。事發之前，西門購物中心正是肯亞身為下撒哈拉商業中心的象徵，反映近年經濟快速發展。

走進事發前的西門購物中心，宛如置身美國或歐洲的大型購物商場，消費者能夠在這裡買到Nike、Adidas等名牌球鞋，還可以在三星門市購買新款智慧手機，肚子餓時更可就近購買冰涼的優格，或大啖壽司。

根據世界銀行資料，肯亞經濟從2002年以來持續維持4至5%的成長率。儘管成長步調受2008年全球金融海嘯影響一度放慢，但已重拾成長動能。國際貨幣基金（IMF）預估肯亞2013年經濟成長率高達6%。過去12個月以來肯亞股市漲逾二成。

目前仍無法確知奈洛比恐怖攻擊事件對肯亞經濟前景造成衝擊，但肯亞經濟發展有很大比率靠觀光業。根據肯亞統計局，2011年國際觀光客人數約180萬人，主要來自歐洲及美國。
