Thomson Reuters報導，日本汽車大廠日產汽車(Nissan)社長Carlos Ghosn 17日於印尼舉行的新車發表會上表示，計劃於2016年結束前將印尼產能擴增至25萬台的規模，將達2013年的約3倍。Carlos指出，計劃於2016年底前將印尼市佔率自現行的6%擴大至15%的水準。

日產17日在印尼發表了專為新興國家研發的低價車款「GO」及「GO+」；「GO」、「GO+」售價將設定在1億印尼盾(8,800美元)以下水準、並預計在2014年5月開賣。

據Thomson Reuters指出，除印尼之外，日產也計劃在印度、俄羅斯及巴西開賣「GO」及「GO+」。

Thomson Reuters指出，日產於去年宣佈，計劃於2014年結束前在印尼投資4億美元；2012年度日產於印尼的汽車產量為6.3萬台，較2011年度大增43%。
